Our Presbytery consists of all the OP ministers and elders of the churches and mission works in Ontario and Michigan (and a slice of Indiana, but who's counting?). The purpose of having a Presbytery is to provide accountablity and oversight for the churches and their officers. The presbyters also provide counsel, fellowship, and assistance to the churches and each other. In addition there are home missions and foreign missions programmes through the Presbytery. (These are in coordination with the OPC denominational missions programmes.)

We have a Presbytery website, which is hosted by the Lansing (Michigan) church.

There is also a Presbytery directory.

The Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario meets three times per year. The ministers and elders of our church are active in many of the committees of presbytery and make a significant contribution to the life of the larger church.

(For readers from a Continental Reformed background, the "presbytery" corresponds to the Reformed classis, and the "session" to the consistory.)
